Your choices you make today will determine your tomorrow

Your background may not determine your future. We will speak about Ruth, and also Gomer.

Ruth, the name means satisfied, but it also means a friend. It also means drunk.

Gomer means complete but also means vanishing. Their names are on both sides, and had double meaning. It’s possible to be upright today, and fallen tomorrow. It is possible to be fallen today but tomorrow they will be saints tomorrow.

Environment determines a lot but does not determine everything. These women had similar backgrounds, bad backgrounds, one ended well, and the other one ended badly.

I would like to admonish you today to do things in such a way that your ending is favorable. Ruth’s background was born in Moabite land, and got married into a not-so-bad family. She got married into a family ridden by the spirit of death. Orphar made a choice to go back home but Ruth stuck by Naomi and her life changed.

It is possible to have a bright future.

In Hosea 1-3, there is the story of Gomer.

The first time God spoke to Hosea he said: “Find a whore and marry her. Make this whore the mother of your children. And here’s why: This whole country has become a whorehouse, unfaithful to me, God .” Hosea did it. He picked Gomer daughter of Diblaim. She got pregnant and gave him a son.
Hosea 1:2‭-‬3 MSG

She got married to Hosea and his name means Savior. Thus it is possible for a bad person to meet the Savior. Hosea is one of the longest serving prophets.

Ruth grew up in a society where prostitution was normal. She got married to Kilion, whose name means sickly/completely.

You can make the choice today to be obedient, diligent, following what God wants. The choice is yours. It’s not a choice you are going to be coerced into, but it will determine your future.

These are the three choices that you need to make:

  1. Choose God over friends. Gomer chose friends and a life of harlot instead of God. Ruth made a choice to follow Naomi. She chose to stay with her mother in law instead of her friends. But Ruth said, “Don’t force me to leave you; don’t make me go home. Where you go, I go; and where you live, I’ll live. Your people are my people, your God is my god; where you die, I’ll die, and that’s where I’ll be buried, so help me God —not even death itself is going to come between us!” Ruth 1:16‭-‬17 MSG
  2. Choose to say no to the flesh. Choose to say yes to the spirit. I did it. I paid good money to get her back. It cost me the price of a slave. Then I told her, “From now on you’re living with me. No more whoring, no more sleeping around. You’re living with me and I’m living with you”. Hosea 3:2‭-‬3 MSG While in marriage, Gomer’s flesh took control of her and she started missing the life she used to live those days.
  3. Choose to find fulfillment only in God. Gomer chose to find Importance and satisfaction in how men desired her. Ruth, chose to find worth/fulfillment in her relationship with the God of Naomi.
  4. Choose what’s best for the future. Gomer chose to forsake her children, leave her inheritance and go to enjoy a in for a season. Ruth chose what was best for her future, she chose to remain faithful to her husband, even after his death. She chose to help Naomi.
  5. Choose to listen only to Godly counsel. There are some people that their counsel will take you to hell. Gomer refused to listen to Godly counsel. Heeding Goldy counsel will save your life.
  6. Choose to be happy with God. Don’t complain to God, you may feel that you all have every right to be angry, but stay happy.

Change your future. Your destiny can be changed.

The Awesome Power Of a Deep Repentance By Dr. George R.  Egerton of Dorcas Int’l

I have come to speak the word of God to you. It is a word to afflict the ones who are comfortable. The United Kingdom may have given the world the Bible in the English language but the nation today needs God again. We actually need for you to come and preach again to us.

I have been a pastor for the past 30 years,  evneglist for the past 5 years and a missionary for the past 11 years. We are a part of very serious ministers and servants of Jesus.

I have been specifically sent to strengthen the Biblical foundation of the church in Africa. Continue reading “The Awesome Power Of a Deep Repentance By Dr. George R.  Egerton of Dorcas Int’l”

When Judgement Has Been Passed By Rev Wilson Owuor

When Judgement Has Been Passed By Rev Wilson Owuor

We should always be ready to speak the word of God. Never come to the house of the Lord without preparing to meet God.

Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.  And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baal–zebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.  But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baal–zebub the god of Ekron? Free From Sin By Br Paul Muriithi

Free From Sin By Br Paul Muriithi

From the altar of God there flows a river. Wherever the river flows from a prepared altar to the congregation,  it heals the sick and revives the weak. Something profound happens whenever the river flows from it.An unprepared altar will bring sickness once it flows to a congregation.

Sin is failing to the right thing you are supposed to do. God is in the process of restoring his church to Himself.  Many times we have spoken about grace,  but Paul warns against the misuse of grace. God is searching for a perfect church that can stand and be entrusted in righteousness and holiness.

The Promise of The Father By Pastor Wilson Owuor

The Promise of The Father By Pastor Wilson Owuor

There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,  A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.  He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

The Tempter Comes Blazing (The Test Before Elevation Part IV) by Bishop Dr Daniel Wambua

Matthew 4:5-7
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
